The show was attended by twenty-one thousand people and included the famous first appearance of the Floradora Sextette, with Boris Karloff, Eddie Cantor, Clifton Webb, Danny Kaye, Ed Wynn, and Vincent Price performing in drag, and Tallulah Bankhead, Gertrude Lawrence, Eve Arden, Leonora Corbett, Peggy Wood, and Sophie Tucker costumed as men. Myrna Loy performed a mock strip tease, auctioning off pieces of her wardrobe.

The show raised $10 million in bonds and inspired the Hollywood Victory Caravan. Cartoons by Charles Addams, Peter Arno, Sidney Hoff, James Thurber, William Stieg, and others. Cover illustration by McClelland Barclay. Lists of performers, organizers, participants, and advertisements. Donation envelope is still tipped in. Staple bound.
