Authentic Les Fetes du Roi Soleil – The Celebrations of the Sun King, issued by Hermes as part of its 1994/1995 Autumn/Winter Collection. Designed by Michel Duchène. An homage to Louis XIV, the French Sun King, depicting flamboyant costumes worn during regal parades and pageants. Crafted from coveted jacquard silk with a woven Hermes design. Hermes discontinued jacquard production in 2001/2002. Due to the rarity of Hermès jacquard silk scarves (carres), they are highly collectible. Great condition, but missing its care tag. Hand-rolled edges. Weight 66G. Silk. 90cm x 90cm. A timeless and elegant Hermes scarf.
